Position: Kitchen and Bath Designer/Sales
Established kitchen and bath design company with over 60 years in the northwest suburbs is seeking a new associate for our Design/Sales Team. Experienced and new designers alike can have the satisfaction of seeing projects from start to finish, managed with integrity and a commitment to customer satisfaction. New team members are mentored by senior designers and management during an initial training period before transitioning to a commissioned design/sales person.
Job responsibilities include:
- Meeting with clients in our showroom and at their homes
- Listening to your clients’ needs and wants and translating them into a concrete design
- Jobsite measuring
- Collaborating with venders and co-workers (project managers, drafting department) to ensure quality design and proper use of materials
- Product selection and pricing for proposals
- Complete sale of project while clearly communicating expectations to clients
- Ordering products needed to complete the project
- Assist with questions and details during installation
- Manage multiple projects to completion with organized documentation
Qualifications:
What does it take to work at Cabinets Plus?
- Kitchen and Bath/Interior design experience or education, sales experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills to maintain great client relationships and work within a team
- Professional presence
