Stainless Steel Sinks
Thinking about a beautiful stainless steel sink for your remodeled kitchen? While these sinks require very little care, there are a few important points to keep in mind so your product stays looking new. Always refer to the use and care instructions shipped with your sink or on the manufacturer's web site. Here are a few tips that seem to be consistent from one brand to the next:
- • Rinse your sink thoroughly after each use.
- • Towel dry after the rinse to prevent water spots and mineral build up.
(This is especially important if you have hard water) - • Scour the sink once a week with a cleaner recommended by your manufacturer.
Make sure to rub in the direction of the grain. - • Don't leave standing solutions of bleach and water in the sink for
extended periods of time. - • Don't use steel wool to scour your sink.
- • Don't scour across the grain.
