REMODELING SERVICES
As experienced remodeling contractors we know how to manage your project expertly from start to finish. Cleanup and smiles are all provided by Cabinets Plus. So you can relax!
At Cabinets Plus we know that the quality of the installation is every bit as important as the quality of the design and products that go into your project. That is why we have carefully selected the finest, most experienced installers to work in your home. We are proud to warranty our labor for three years. This shows the Kunzweiler brother's commitment to stand behind the work installed by Cabinets Plus. Our highly skilled crafts people have been with us for years and understand all the little nuances and small details that are required to make your project come together beautifully.
For example, they know the proper way to hang fine cabinetry so that the doors and drawers operate smoothly and don't bind. They understand how to protect a new tub or faucet so that it doesn't get scratched or damaged during installation. They can finesse a tile edge so that it looks just right even when the wall itself is not square, which is often the case in most homes. These are the details that an inexperienced crew can miss. But they are essential to the success of your project.
Our Cabinets Plus crews are always respectful of your home and know how to keep the disruption of a remodeling to a minimum. They keep the job site clean and are careful of your walls and floors as they bring in tools and equipment. You can trust that there will be no unpleasant surprises.
Another advantage of working with a full service remodeling contractor like Cabinets Plus is that jobs tend to be completed more quickly when there is one source for almost everything you need. We take care of overseeing all the details of ordering, double checking everything, tracking delivery schedules and inspecting the products for defects upon their arrival. This means your job will not face lengthy delays waiting for products to arrive.
Even if we don't sell some products, like appliances, we will coordinate a timely delivery and install what you buy. How's that for a no hassle experience? We at Cabinets Plus feel so strongly about providing you with a pleasurable experience that one of the owners, Dave Kunzweiler, handles the job of running our installation crews and scheduling all of our service calls rather than a "foreman" assigned to your job. Just pick up the phone and call us if you have any concerns with your project.
We don't do the decorating. But when we leave, with some minor prep work, you'll be ready to finish off your new room with paint or wallpaper. And then sit back and enjoy it.
MEET OUR INSTALLERS
Kevin Olsberg – Joined us in October 1988 and resides in Barrington. Kevin enjoys standing back at the end of a job when all the hard work has come together into a great looking finished project.
Ron Neulist – Joined us in March 1989 and resides in Island Lake. He especially
likes projects where walls are moved or removed, to open up a kitchen to a family
room, creating a great room. Ron enjoys meeting homeowners and building a
rapport with them throughout the project.
Chris Farruggio – Joined us in November 1994 and resides in Arlington Heights. He especially likes the challenges of lighting design and electrical distribution. He understands that conveniently placed outlets and switches, and a flexible lighting system can take a room from good to great. Chris likes that each project has its own unique challenges. Sure beats sitting at a desk all day.
Tim Kunzweiler – Joined us in July of 2004 and resides in Cary. He is Steve’s son and the first of Dick’s grandchildren in the business. Tim especially likes putting up-to-date kitchens and baths into older, classic homes in need of a facelift. He has enjoyed learning an array of construction skills that he has applied to projects in his own home.
Mike Hopkins - Joined us in June of 2002 and resides in Algonquin. He especially likes working on kitchens or baths where the design is changed dramatically, such as turning a poorly designed 1970s kitchen into a highly functional space for today’s lifestyles. Mike likes the demolition phase because customers are always amazed at how quick it is to remove something that has been around for a generation or two.
